Teknet is working closely with the UBC IT team to assist with network backbone migrations/upgrades for several building networks across campus that currently terminate on an older router pair that is slated for decommission (A21-L21). As part of this decommissioning process, Teknet will be assisting with the migration of the backbone connectivity for the Campus Security network (CSEC01). During this change, the existing backbone links will be physically migrated over to a new router pair (A28-L28), followed by QA and testing. The aim of this project is to improve performance and reliability of the Core Routers and thus improving the overall network performance/reliability of the Campus Security Network.
