UBC Faculty and Staff Email (FASmail) and Student and Alumni Mail (SAM) Service Maintenance November 17, 2025 09:00 - 23:00 PT Nov 17, 2025 09:00-23:00 PST

On November 17, 2025 09:00 - 23:00 PT, UBC IT will perform system maintenance on the UBC Faculty and Staff Email (FASmail) and the Student and Alumni Mail (SAM) Service. No user impact is anticipated during the maintenance window.

Upcoming Outage – Learner Management (ODMT) - Tuesday, November 18, 2025 - 16:00 – 19:00 PT Nov 18, 2025 16:00-19:00 PST

Please be advised that the UBC Official Documents Tool (ODMT) will be unavailable on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 16:00 - 19:00 PT to implement a system update. There will be a 60-minute outage within this window.

TouchNet PROD site - Scheduled Maintenance November 21, 2025, 00:00-04:00 PT Nov 21, 2025 00:00-04:00 PST

The TouchNet PROD site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance. During the update window the TouchNet PROD site will be offline for logging in by staff as a TouchNet user and for customers making new payments. During this time when the payor clicks "pay now" TouchNet will display a screen informing the payor that the system is off line for maintenance and to try again after the system is back online.

Resolved - A fix has been implemented, and users should now be able to upload attachments when initiating business processes in Workday and submit without any issues. If users continue to face any issues or need additional Workday support, please continue to reach out to the Integrated Service Centre (hXXps://isc.ubc.ca/).

Investigating - Users are unable to upload documents or attachments when initiating a business process (BP) in Workday and encounter page errors when attempting to submit BP steps. Workday has identified the root cause and is working on a system fix. An update will be provided when more information is available. If urgent, and when possible, users are advised to initiate a business process via the mobile app.

Scheduled - We will be replacing the x509 certificate on the Red Hat Satellite Server (satellite6.it.ubc.ca) this Nov 3, 2025 16:00 - 16:30. After this change, servers that are subscribed to the RedHat Satellite service will be required to update their katello-ca-consumer package in order to continue their subscription.
