There are no expected outages to running virtual machines, and no impacts to the EduCloud Server Administration Portal for Kamloops sites except during the below dates:

The RDS will undergo maintenance on March 27, 2023, 17:00-19:00 PT.

Maintenance will be performed after hours to minimize any potential impacts.

During this downtime there will be a brief interruption to ALL enterprise services including the following for 3 minutes up to 5 minutes whilst updates are performed.

All services will automatically recover.

IAM Services:
All APIs including IAM related will be impacted.

There are no expected outages to running virtual machines and no impacts to the EduCloud Server Administration Portal for Vancouver orgs except during the below dates:
April 15, 2023, 09:00-13:00 PT - Management of NSX Edge Gateway services will be unavailable for Vancouver orgs.
April 29, 2023, 09:00-13:00 PT - Management of org and virtual machines will be unavailable for Vancouver orgs.

Virtual machines running on the EduCloud Server service will remain up and running. Administrators will be able to manage virtual machines via other management methods such as RDP and SSH, but will not be able to manage them through the EduCloud Portal.

Resolved - We experienced an outage for external incoming/outgoing calls on March 17, 2023 from 08:30-09:00. Technicians have identified the cause to be an external vendor network issue, which UBC relies on for external calls. All internal calls made within UBC's voice systems were not affected.

All voice are services recovered and have been operational as of 09:00. If you are experiencing issues with incoming or outgoing calls, please contact the IT Service Centre for assistance.
