Ponderosa Office Annex B (PONB01) Network Backbone Migration from A21-L21 to A28-L28 August 11, 2022, 20:30-21:00 PT

Teknet is working closely with the UBC IT team to assist with network backbone migrations/upgrades for several building networks across campus that currently terminate on an older router pair that is slated for decommission (A21-L21). As part of this decommissioning process, Teknet will be assisting with the migration of the backbone connectivity for the Ponderosa Office Annex B (PONB01) on August 11, 2022, 20:30-21:00 PT. During this change, the existing backbone links will be physically migrated over to a new router pair (A28-L28), followed by QA and testing. The aim of this project is to improve performance and reliability of the Core Routers and thus improving the overall network performance/reliability of the Ponderosa Office Annex B network.
