Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

All Mule applications will undergo maintenance on 22 Oct 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00.
No outage is expected.
This work is being performed after hours to minimize any potential impact. In the unlikely event that an application is affected during patching, there may be a brief disruption of 15 to 30 minutes. All services will return to normal automatically once the maintenance is complete.
Please be aware that:
Some system functions may be temporarily unavailable.
API requests may not go through during part of the upgrade.
Processing of SFTP files will pause during deployment and resume automatically afterward.
All services will restore themselves without any action required on your part.
Applications that may be impacted:
Workday
Tuition Waiver (SFDC - TW)
EMMS (PlanOn)
Office of Research Services - Survey Monkey
OpenAthens
LinkedIn Learning Students
Lifeworks
IAM Impacts:
IAM APIs will be impacted. This change is not only for web applications.
All APIs including IAM related will be impacted
CWL Account creation via CWLU and SP_PUID lookup is impacted, and will be unavailable to:
- Students, applicants, alumni
- LLIS learners
All IAM related processes, and authentication access will be unavailable to:
- Applicant Service Centre (ASC)
- CWL Account Upgrader (CWLU)
- DAF website
- DeDupe website
- PHUB-admin website
- Science One
- UNI CRM
- UBC Student Housing and Community Services myAccount (including UBC Card)
- Vidcruiter
No other impact on end users.
